Availability
I currently have availability within my private practice and aim to be as adaptable as possible to suit your schedule.
Because I work part-time with a local charity, I understand that a standard "9-to-5" doesn't work for everyone. I offer flexible hours throughout the week to ensure we can find a time that fits your life.
Out-of-hours & Short Notice Support: I am open to working unsociable hours (evenings or weekends) and can often accommodate sessions at short notice. Please note that for appointments outside of standard working hours or for urgent, last-minute bookings, a different fee scale may apply.
If you have a specific time frame in mind, please do get in touch, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
About me and my therapy practice
Choosing a therapist is a personal decision, and I believe the most important factor is how comfortable you feel in the room. I pride myself on being friendly, relaxed, and down-to-earth. I don’t believe therapy should feel clinical or intimidating; instead, I offer a warm, conversational space where you can be yourself.
My door is open to most problems, whether you are facing a specific crisis or just feeling a general sense that "something isn't right." I have experience working with a wide range of issues, from daily stresses and relationship hiccups to deeper, more complex emotional struggles. No matter what you are bringing to the table, you can expect a non-judgemental ear and a supportive partner in your journey.
In our work together, there is no "right" way to talk or "correct" thing to say. We will work collaboratively, at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you. Whether we are sitting in your home, meeting online, or walking together outdoors, my goal is to make the process feel as natural and helpful as possible.
Practice description
I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection rather than a clinical process. My practice is focused on being approachable and down-to-earth; I want you to feel as comfortable as you would having a coffee with a trusted friend, while still receiving professional, high-quality support.
Whether you are grappling with a specific life event or simply feeling disoriented, I am willing to engage in a conversation about whatever concerns you. There is no problem too big or too small to bring to our sessions. I offer a space where your voice is heard without judgement and where we can explore your challenges together.
A Way of Working That Suits You Because life is busy and everyone’s needs are different, I don’t stick to a rigid "office-only" model. I offer:
Walking Therapy: To help you process things while moving in the fresh air.
Home Visits: For comfort and ease of access in your own space.
Online Sessions: For flexibility that fits around your schedule.
My goal is to provide a service that feels natural and unforced, allowing you to work at your own pace and in a way that truly helps you move forward.

My first session details
I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big commitment, so I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation before we begin. This gives us a chance to have a brief, informal chat so you can get a feel for how I work and ask any initial questions you might have.
If you decide to move forward, our first full session is about creating a solid foundation for our work together. We will start by completing any relevant paperwork, such as a simple working agreement, to ensure you feel safe and informed.
Once the "admin" is out of the way, the focus shifts entirely to you. We will use this time to get to know each other and begin to explore what is currently troubling you. There is no pressure to have all the answers right away; it’s simply the start of our collaborative journey at a pace that feels right for you.
