I also have some availability at a different location in SW2 on Acre Lane in between Brixton and Clapham.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a London based, integrative therapist who approaches all my client relationships through a compassionate and non-judgmental lens.

My background in journalism and politics informs my therapeutic practice, bringing a deep sense of the impact high stress situations and workplaces can have on people and how individuals function within different systems.

I have worked with people facing difficult life events, struggling with relationships, experiencing anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. I have experience of working with NHS clients, in community services and in private practice.

For some people (eg. those who have health vulnerabilities) working online or by phone is possible.

Practice description

If you are struggling, feeling low or aware of something holding you back, therapy can help you re-evaluate and make new sense of your life.

It can be hard to seek support but it might still be easier than just carrying on. Therapy offers the chance to work towards feeling more comfortable, secure and confident in yourself.

From the beginning of the therapeutic relationship we focus on establishing trust and a strong sense of safety so that you can understand your problems through a deeper awareness of your experiences, thoughts and feelings.

Each person and set of circumstances are unique. I offer an inclusive, non-judgmental and compassionate space to explore the challenges or concerns that most affect you.

My first session

If you want to get in touch, please send me an email or give me a call.

After that, if you would like to take the next step, we will meet for an initial consultation. This meeting is an opportunity for me to learn something of your concerns and for you to get a sense of how I work. If we agree to work together we will look at practicalities such as a deciding a regular day and time to meet every week.

Sessions are 50 minutes long. During initial sessions I may ask you questions to gather information and you are free to ask me questions too. As sessions progress things become more explorative. Pauses and silences can be part of the work.

The time we agree on to meet is your time. It will not be used for anyone else. Continuity and regularity of attendance is important. I may have to charge for any sessions that you miss without reasonable notice.

Session fees, including an initial session, are £70. Some lower fee places may be available.
