About me and my therapy practice
I offer a compassionate, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is person-centred and integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you.
I work relationally and believe that a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change and healing. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, valued, and understood, whether you are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, low mood, trauma, grief, life transitions, neurodiversity-related challenges, or difficulties connected to self-esteem, identity, or relationships.
Alongside talking therapy, I may incorporate creative or reflective approaches where appropriate, helping clients explore emotions and experiences in different ways. I work with adults, children, and young people, and I have a particular interest in supporting women’s wellbeing, including menopause-related emotional challenges, as well as supporting neurodiverse individuals and families.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, and I work gently and collaboratively, allowing you to move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you.
Practice description
My private practice is based in Bewdley, Worcestershire. Offering in person and online sessions for children, young people and adults. I provide a supportive and confidential environment where clients can explore the difficulties they may be facing and work towards greater understanding, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
I support clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, life transitions, burnout, and childhood experiences. I also offer support
My first session
I offer a free 15–20 minute consultation prior to beginning therapy, giving us an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to counselling and to see whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
The first session is focused on beginning to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. We will explore what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and any questions or concerns you may have. I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, so sessions are always taken at the client’s pace, with no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. My priority is to help you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
