Availability
I have availability for face-to-face sessions in Lydney on Tuesdays, and online session availability Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
About me and my therapy practice
I’m based in Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean for in-person work. I also work online.
I specialise in working with people who experience anxiety, feel stuck in life or relationships, and struggle to express what they need.
Many of my clients don’t arrive with a single clear problem. Instead, they describe a general sense of anxiety, overthinking, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Often, they are thoughtful and perceptive but have learned to manage themselves carefully in order to cope.
In our work together, we’ll take time to understand anxiety rather than fight it. By gently exploring what’s beneath the anxiety — often fear, anger, or pain — people often discover a clearer sense of themselves and a stronger inner voice.
I offer a thoughtful, inclusive space and welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, and neurotypes.
Practice description
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor, trained over four years with Gloucestershire Counselling Services (accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, BACP). As a registered member of the BACP, I work within their Ethical Framework, and I am DBS-checked for your peace of mind.
My background in nutrition counselling (BSc) can be especially helpful if you are struggling with food or body-related issues that you’d like to understand more deeply. I also support people experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and those who find it difficult to express themselves or manage emotions such as anger.
I bring lived experience of working as an escort over many years, which informs my work with particular sensitivity to issues of survival, shame, power, boundaries, and agency. Exploring intimacy, sexuality, identity, and difficult or stigmatized experiences with care and dignity.
You may be going through a major life change - leaving home, becoming a parent, retiring, or seeking to explore your neuro-divergence in a way that feels affirming and integrated. Whatever your situation, I offer an environment where you can be heard, understood, and supported.
