Many of the people I work with appear capable and composed on the outside, yet inside feel anxious, uncertain, or disconnected from their own needs. You might overthink interactions, struggle to set boundaries, or notice yourself repeating relationship patterns that leave you feeling unseen or resentful.

Rather than treating anxiety or self-doubt as something to eliminate, we take time to understand them. Often these feelings carry unspoken fear, anger, grief, or unmet needs that were once difficult to express. By exploring these experiences, you can begin to recognise long-standing patterns and develop a stronger, more grounded sense of yourself.

I work with adults who learned early that being needed, accommodating, or self-reliant was safer than expressing their own needs. Together, we explore these patterns not as flaws to fix, but as intelligent ways you adapted in order to survive and belong. Over time, insight can support new choices, more authentic relationships, and a greater sense of agency.

Alongside my counselling training, I hold a BSc in Nutrition and worked as a Nutritionist for 15 years. This experience can be particularly helpful if you are navigating concerns about food, body image, perfectionism, or self-worth, which are often closely connected to identity and emotional safety.

In addition to professional training, I bring a thoughtful awareness of complex social and relational dynamics. I work with sensitivity to shame, boundaries, agency, and survival strategies.
