About me and my therapy practice
You might feel like you don't fit in, or that you're wired differently to the people around you. Maybe you've spent a long time trying to be the "right" version of yourself. Perhaps you wish your relationships felt easier and more genuine, or you're wondering if you'll ever feel like you truly belong.
At work, you might be going through the motions, saying you're "fine" when you're not, unsure what you really want because you've been focused on everyone else's needs.
If you're neurodivergent, you've probably spent years figuring out how to fit in. The constant masking, the anxiety, the feeling that everyone else got a manual you never received; it all adds up.
Maybe you're craving a space where you can drop the act.
For neurodivergent & LGBTQIA+ people, this feeling of not fitting in may have been with you your whole life. Society hasn't been built with you in mind, and it can leave you feeling drained.
I get it. And I want you to know that here, you don't have to apologise for how your brain works. In our sessions, you won't need to justify how you feel. We'll take the time to look at what's been weighing on you and find ways to make things feel more manageable and true to who you are.
Counselling gives you room to untangle the hard stuff, rediscover the parts of yourself you've been hiding, and find ways of living that actually work for you. Many of my clients find they start to second-guess themselves less, build relationships that feel more genuine, and gradually let go of some of the shame they've been carrying.
I work in a trauma-informed way, paying attention to trust, safety, and what you need from the sessions. You don't need the right words; we can work it out together.
You deserve relationships where you're genuinely seen, and a life where you can be yourself.
Practice description
I offer confidential one-to-one counselling for adults, shaped around what you feel is most important.
Sessions move at your pace, there's no rush and no agenda other than what you bring. I work in a way that fully affirms neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and gender-diverse identities.
My approach is person-centred and relational, which means you're the expert on your own life and our relationship matters. I also draw on psychodynamic ideas to help us understand patterns and make sense of things that might feel confusing or stuck.
Whether you're looking for short-term support around something specific or longer-term exploration, we can figure out together what works best for you.
