About me and my therapy practice
I work in an integrative way, with a strong foundation in person-centred counselling. This means our work is led by you, at your pace, with warmth, compassion and respect at its core. I believe that you already hold the answers within you, and my role is to offer a safe, supportive space where those answers can begin to emerge.
Drawing on different therapeutic approaches, I tailor sessions to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. I may integrate elements from other modalities when helpful, always guided by what feels right for you.
The name Willow Wolf reflects how I work. Like the willow, I value gentleness, flexibility and the healing power of being heard and held. Like the wolf, I honour strength, instinct, resilience and the importance of connection. Nature often inspires my practice, whether through metaphor, reflection or grounding, supporting growth, healing and balance.
I offer counselling both online and in person, creating a calm, confidential space where you can explore whatever brings you to therapy, knowing you will be met with empathy, curiosity and acceptance.
Practice description
Willow Wolf Therapy is a space for reflection, healing and self-discovery. My practice is rooted in the belief that growth happens when we feel safe enough to be our authentic selves. I offer a warm, non-judgemental environment where you can speak freely and be truly heard.
I work integratively, adapting my approach to suit you as a whole person — your thoughts, emotions, experiences and values. With a strong person-centred base, our work is collaborative and relational, with trust and respect at its heart.
Inspired by nature, my practice reflects both softness and strength. Like the willow, therapy can be a place to bend without breaking, to rest and restore. Like the wolf, it can also be a place to reconnect with your inner strength, instincts and sense of direction.
Whether you choose online or in-person sessions, you can expect a consistent, compassionate space where you are supported to explore challenges, reconnect with yourself and move towards greater clarity and wellbeing.
My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to meet, get to know one another and begin creating a safe therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting counselling can feel daunting, so I aim to make this session as welcoming and relaxed as possible.
We will talk about what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from therapy. I may ask some gentle questions to help understand your experiences, but there is no pressure to share anything before you are ready. You are always in control of the pace and depth of our work.
I will also explain how I work, confidentiality, and practical details, and there will be plenty of space for you to ask questions or share any concerns. This session is about exploring whether we feel like a good fit and beginning to build trust. My focus in the first session is on helping you feel safe, heard and supported as we take the first step together.
