During our introductory call, we can discuss our availability and what timings would suit.About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy can feel daunting. You may be dealing with something specific, or you might simply feel overwhelmed and stuck, or even unsure of what you actually need. You may just want to feel heard. I’m here to offer a warm, safe space where you can talk openly, feel listened to, & explore what’s going on at a pace that feels right for you. I offer both short and long term work depending on what feels right for you.
What I Can Help With
I have supported clients with a variety of challenges. I specialise in addiction & have a strong understanding of 12-step recovery and the emotional work that goes alongside it. I have experience working in both a treatment centre/rehab setting and community addiction services, supporting people at different stages of their recovery.
I feel extremely passionate about helping clients who are in both active addiction and in recovery. I know what a difficult and painful time this can be, & I am here to support you whether that is navigating your recovery journey, exploring your relationship with drugs or alcohol or looking at why you turn to substances in the first place. I can also help you if you are in a relationship with someone struggling with addiction. I understand how challenging this can be & how lonely and powerless you may feel.
About Me and My Style of Working
Clients describe me as calm, warmhearted, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I offer a non-judgmental space where you can bring anything — whether it feels big, confusing, shameful, or something you’ve never voiced before. There’s no pressure to be a certain way; you can show up exactly as you are and use the sessions in a way that fits you best.
Together, we can work to make sense of what you’re experiencing and help you find clarity, emotional balance and a way forward. I’m warm and compassionate, but I can also gently challenge you when I feel it could be helpful. I will never ask you to talk about anything you don’t want to or feel unable to explore.
