About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Jennie. I’m a fully qualified, BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind and you can share thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express elsewhere.
My role isn’t to give advice, but to sit with you as you explore your experiences and make sense of them. Whether you’re working through emotional struggles, building resilience, or strengthening relationships, I aim to offer a compassionate, grounded space to support your growth.
My integrative training allows me to work flexibly, drawing on a wide range of therapeutic approaches such as relational, psychodynamic, existential and person-centred counselling. I may also integrate creative techniques like sand tray work and practical CBT tools, tailoring my approach to support each client individually.
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, which we can review and agree together as our work develops.
Practice description
I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly.
You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, trauma or feeling overwhelmed and stuck. You might notice patterns such as people-pleasing, struggling with boundaries, masking your feelings, or feeling “on edge” in relationships. Together, we can explore where these patterns began and how they may be impacting your life now.
I have experience supporting clients who have experienced abusive or neglectful relationships in childhood or adulthood. I also work with those who feel anxious in close relationships and struggle with self-esteem.
My approach is relational and exploratory. I believe our present difficulties often make sense when we understand our past experiences and attachment patterns. I work at your pace, offering both empathy and gentle challenge where appropriate. The aim is to help you gain clarity, strengthen your sense of self, and feel more emotionally secure and in control.
I work one-to-one with adults and offer face-to-face sessions in Epsom, Banstead and Croydon as well as online session.
Taking the first step can feel daunting. If you would like to explore working together, please get in touch to arrange an initial introductory phone call.
My first session
Our first session will be relaxed and informal - a chance for me to get to know you a little better and to ask a few assessment-style questions so we can think together about the best way to work going forward.
