About me and my therapy practice
Maybe you’re going through a big change, feeling stuck in your relationships, or struggling to feel good about yourself. You want clarity, confidence, and a sense of balance—but right now, it feels hard to get there. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
My name's Chris, and at Reflective Presence Therapy, I offer a calm and supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation—one where you feel understood and respected.
Practice description
My work is guided by a relational integrative approach, which means I focus on building a strong, supportive connection in tailoring therapy to your unique needs. Seeking to balance challenge with support in our sessions, I combine Gestalt, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches —helping you understand patterns, build awareness, and explore deeper experiences so you can create lasting change.
Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and find practical ways to move forward. I specialise in helping people navigate life transitions, improve relationships, and build self-acceptance. My goal is to support you in creating meaningful change so you can feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs and establish arrangements for an initial session. Please contact me to schedule a consultation, including your availability and contact details.
Before our first session, I will send you a short assessment and personal details form to complete before the appointment.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin getting to know one another. We will talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will explain how I work, outline practical details such as confidentiality and boundaries, and answer any questions you may have.
This initial session is also a space for you to see how it feels to work with me, with no obligation to continue unless it feels right for you.
