About me and my therapy practice
I am a therapist with a core interest in bereavement and trauma. I believe nobody should have to face loss and challenging times alone. I’ve walked with many people through their grief and trauma and I’ve seen how powerful it can be to have a safe place to share what’s really going on inside.
I don’t believe in “fixing” grief or rushing the process. Grief is deeply personal—there is no right or wrong way. My role is to offer you compassion, understanding, and guidance as you find your own path forward.
Practice description
Grief does not follow a timetable. When loss upends your life, bereavement counselling offers a compassionate, professional pathway back to living with meaning — not forgetting, but integrating what’s been lost.
I recognise every bereavement is different. You’ll receive support that honours your relationship to the person who died, your cultural and spiritual background, and your coping style.
I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space. Sessions provide a safe environment to express anger, guilt, confusion and sorrow without pressure to “move on” too quickly.
My first session
On your first session you can expect a warm, respectful conversation where I listen to your story, assess your needs, and co-create an immediate, practical plan. We’ll clarify goals, explain therapeutic approaches that might help, and agree on logistics — frequency, duration.
