About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Felix - I'm an integrative psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in London.
I'm registered with both the BACP and UKCP and have multiple qualifications in the field. My work is based in relational, phenomenological and psychodynamic training, and is continuously informed by developments in research, philosophy and academia. My approach is experiential, compassionate and open-minded, whilst also retaining elements of challenge so you feel supported as you face what matters most.
I believe that it is through our experience of each other in therapy that something hidden and unique can be disclosed, and that is what I aim to find with you.
Practice description
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a wide range of psychological theories and methods to support you and respond to your unique experience. I regularly take part in ongoing training, professional development, and supervision, so you can feel confident that the care you receive is informed, current, and of the highest standard.
I work with individuals and couples. I have experience working with a wide range of presentations. As my training and approach are holistic, I can work with most issues whether they are included in the stated list or not.
In our work together I will help you to address your challenges, behavioural patterns and past experiences that are still affecting daily life.
I offer in-person and online sessions for open-ended therapy. I also offer shorter term therapy, or even one-off sessions for people to troubleshoot a specific or acute difficulty. I operate from W1, The City of London and separately in Farringdon, or online via Zoom.
My fees are £90 per hour, and I hold low-cost slots too for those who are students, unemployed or retired. For long-term therapy work, I offer an initial 20-minute call to familiarise ourselves with each other and discuss goals and expectations. Appointments are available for online sessions or in-person at my practices in W1, The City of London and Farringdon.
All sessions are strictly confidential, and I abide by the UKCP and BACP ethical frameworks. I am DBS cleared.
My first session
In our first session together, our time will be spent understanding your needs, expectations and how I can work with you to achieve them. If we decide to progress our work, then I will conduct an intake assessment on our second session. This is to take a full history and background, as well as explore your relationships, family and beliefs & outlook.
