About me and my therapy practice
I work (online UK wide) and F2F (Ldn) with twenty/thirty somethings . I specialise in anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, impulsivity and low mood - addressing the challenges of growing up online and offline in today's complex world.
This includes social, relational and professional pressures, as well as substance use/misuse and identity issues for adults 18 and above. I have experience with creatives, students, familial challenges and growing pains of adulting.
To note: I support many neurodivergent clients, and adapt my practice collaboratively alongside them (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia).
Practice description
I use a holistic, integrated approach to cognitive and mindfulness-based therapies, including DBT, CBT, ACT, and IFS, alongside psychodynamic and reflective work to get to the core of challenges and our understanding of ourselves.
You may have had experience of CBT on the NHS, or you may be completely new to therapy. What I offer is different: it is less about worksheets and homework, and more about supporting you to live better - now. I believe in psychoeducation and want therapy to be practical and useful, as well as emotionally supportive and exploratory.
I reflect on the past, but very much work in the NOW. I won’t stare at you blankly or nod repeatedly. I might, if appropriate, even share a laugh or a sombre silence with you when needed. Therapy needs to be useful, practical and emotionally supportive.
I work navigating Anxiety, Burnout, Depression, Self-esteem, Identity, Emotional regulation (big feels), Impulsivity, and work or life transitions.
Lets have a think, and talk it out.
My first session
I review work every 6 sessions to ensure the process works for you.
Initial sessions focus on understanding your expectations, needs, and the challenges you are facing. From there, I adapt the work to suit you, blending reflective exploration, psycho-education, structured tools, and open-ended talking therapy.
During Ongoing sessions, there is no expectation to complete tasks, but I may suggest resources or ideas, such as podcasts, books, or practical tools to explore. Therapy tends to be most effective when you actively engage and apply what we explore to everyday life.
Types of therapy
Behavioural, CBT, Cognitive, Creative therapy, Emotionally focused therapy, Existential, Humanistic, Integrative, Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal, Person centred, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Relational, Transactional analysis
Clients I work with
