About me and my therapy practice

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering in-person sessions in Morpeth and online.

I am here to help you explore and understand who you are, your relationships, your problems and your life. I believe that the relationship formed between the client and their therapist, is the most important part of therapy and I will work to make sure that the therapy you receive best fits your needs and your goals.

I became a therapist because I have always been interested in listening to people and hearing their stories. My therapeutic style is about prioritising your wellbeing, self-discovery and growth above all else. I believe that by better understanding ourselves and our actions, we can move towards healing.

I offer a space for clients to explore who they are, and how their life has led them to where they are today. My aim is to support you on this journey: whether you want to work through issues you are facing in the present or past events. I can help you to explore and understand who you are, your relationships, your problems and your life.

As a psychotherapeutic counsellor, I draw from a range of different models to best suit your needs. I enjoy using a range of methods to support you on your counselling journey, such as journaling, guided imagery, mindfulness, breath work, and sand tray.

I work with individual clients experiencing a wide range of issues and challenges- including, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, stress and burnout, life transitions, addictive and compulsive behaviours and trauma.

Practice description

My practice is based in a calm, welcoming building in the heart of Morpeth. It’s a quiet, professional space that many people find feels safe and non-clinical — more like a comfortable place to pause and talk. The setting offers privacy and a sense of calm.

My first session

In our first session together, we’ll spend some time getting to know you and what has brought you to counselling. I'll ask some questions about parts of your life history to help me understand what you’ve been through and what you might need now. You’re always in control of what you share, and we go at your pace. My aim is to meet you where you are.
