About me and my therapy practice
At Greyspace we believe that life isn't always black and white. So why take a single fixed approach to therapy?
Here, we offer therapy with a difference:
You outline your hopes for our sessions
You shape how we work (or don’t work)
You choose how many sessions we have
You’ll have the opportunity to share feedback after each session, so that we can adapt to your needs at any given time and shape therapy by working together however feels right for you.
We believe that by understanding your core identity and values, things begin to make more sense.
Challenges feel less overwhelming, and the path forward becomes clearer.
Relationships – with family, friends, work and ourselves – are shaped by who we are at our core. Often, when life becomes grey, we lose sight of our identity.
Exploring these foundations can offer a fresh perspective and create the chance for real, meaningful change.
Practice description
I offer collaborative, client-led pluralistic therapy focused on what matters most to you. My approach is guided by your hopes and choices, with therapy evolving around what feels most helpful together as we go.
I believe people are quick to sense when something doesn’t feel genuine, so I aim to respond in ways that are honest, present, and grounded in the real relationship we build together.
You don’t need to arrive with clear goals or the “right words”. We can make sense of things together at your pace.
My first session
You can book an Introduction to Greyspace session (lasting 30 mins) at no charge to explore the type of counselling that Greyspace offer and discuss your hopes for counselling as well as any previous experiences of therapy you may have had in the past.
If you decide to proceed - future counselling sessions will last 1 hour and you will be asked to complete a "What Would You Like Me to Know About You" form to help your counsellor prepare for your first session.
Only share what feels comfortable — we can explore anything further at your own pace.
