About me and my therapy practice
People often come to therapy feeling unsure, nervous, or simply worn down by holding things on their own. You might know exactly what you want to talk about, or you might not - both are very welcome here. I offer a calm, supportive space where there’s no pressure to say the right thing, and where we can take things at a pace that feels manageable for you.
I work in a person-centred way, grounded in empathy, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard. You don’t need to arrive with clear answers - therapy can be a place to gently untangle things together, like slowly easing apart a tangled ball of yarn, one thread at a time.
Practice description
I’m a BACP-qualified therapist with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I currently offer online therapy and have experience working with clients both face to face and online.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, past trauma, family complexities, and low self-esteem or self-worth. I aim to offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever feels important to you, without pressure or expectation.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation where we can talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to explore. This is also an opportunity for me to share more about how I work and answer any questions you may have. The consultation is a chance for us both to see whether we feel like a good fit before deciding to move forward with therapy.
If we decide to work together, sessions are 50 minutes long. We can regularly review how therapy is feeling for you and discuss how many sessions you would like or need.
