About me and my therapy practice
Hello. My name is Kate and I help people lead happier, more authentic lives.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist/counsellor, here to support your mental health in a flexible and modern way. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, but what matters most is that you feel seen, heard, and understood for who you really are.
I believe self-compassion, vulnerability, and embracing our imperfections are key to living a freer, more authentic life. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and empathic — often with a healthy dose of humour.
What can I do for you?
There are times in everyone’s life when we could benefit from the uniquely powerful support of therapy. Maybe you’re struggling with a toxic relationship, breakup or bereavement. Maybe you’re looking for courage to explore your past or navigate a big life transition. Or perhaps you want to finally break free from perfectionism and people-pleasing. Therapy gives you the time and space to process your emotions, consider new possibilities and make lasting, positive changes.
Practice description
I am trained as an integrative relational psychotherapist. In simple terms, this means I use a blend of approaches to help you understand yourself and how you relate to others. I don’t just listen - my aim is to give you insight and support to make positive changes in your life.
I work with individuals aged 18+.
I work from my home practice, The Nest, in Godalming, Surrey, and at The Eaves practices across Surrey. I offer a blend of face-to-face and online therapy.

My first session
Free initial consultation: I offer a free, no-obligation 20 minute phone/video call to work out if we're a good fit to work together. This is a very relaxed chat, a chance for you to talk a bit more about why you're looking for therapy and to ask any questions. It's important you feel that you can be yourself with me so after this session we'll discuss whether you'd like to begin therapy with me or seek help somewhere else. Either decision is the right one for you.
If you decide you'd like to go ahead, we'll agree to regular sessions, ideally on a weekly basis. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and held either in person, online or a mix of the two to work around you.
