About me and my therapy practice
Hello there.
Do you need someone to talk to? I'm here for you.
I will provide you with a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is troubling you. Reaching out for support is a huge step, and I will aim to make the process as comfortable and collaborative as possible.
I believe that feeling heard, understood and accepted is at the heart of meaningful change. Together we will explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
Practice description
Sessions are 50 minutes and usually take place weekly, depending on your schedule. I offer both short-term focused work and longer-term open-ended therapy. We will review our work together to ensure it continues to meet your needs and goals. I prefer to work face to face in Poole but if you need to swap to online, that is fine too.
You are the expert in your own life. My role is not to give advice or tell you what to do, but to support you in gaining clarity, building resilience and making choices that feel right for you.
My first session
I offer a free initial call to see if I'm the right counsellor for you. This may include an assessment, meaning I will ask a few questions about how you might like to move forward and what you might want to get out of counselling.
