About me and my therapy practice

I'm Nicola Morley, a psychotherapist based in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, offering talking therapy to adults.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly and feel accepted just as you are. I work with adult individuals from all backgrounds with particular experience supporting people living with ADHD, those affected by narcissistic abuse, grief, and life transitions.

My way of working is kind, reflective, and relational. I use a person-centred approach, gently drawing on solution-focused ideas where these feel helpful. I have experienced clients evolve at their own pace to a place of greater clarity, self-understanding, and awareness of change.

I am an Registered Member MBACP of the BACP and an accredited registrant of the NCPS. I am committed to continued professional development so that my work remains ethical, thoughtful, and responsive to each person I meet.

Because the relationship we build together matters, I offer a free 15-minute telephone or video consultation. This gives you the chance to ask questions and see whether working together feels right for you.

Practice description

I work both online and face to face from a practice based in St Annes, Lancashire.  It is a beautiful premises that is welcoming, comfortable and safe.

My practice is client led. No subject is off limits.  There is no timetable or limit to the amount of sessions you can book with me.

Sessions last 50 minutes.

My first session

You may not know it, but you’ve already taken the first step...It can be scary and confusing making the decision to contact a therapist, but in my experience people will struggle with a mental health issue, a personal crisis or problems with a relationship for much longer than is healthy. Sometimes a friend has proved a source of comfort, but this help can only go so far. Realising that resolving a problem requires something more means you have already moving towards improving your life.

In our first session of working together, I will ask you to read and sign a contract, which we will go through giving as much time as you need to clarify.  I will also ask you to provide your name, address and doctor's surgery details.

Once these formalities have been completed, we can begin the session and work with whatever you wish.
