About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified counsellor and a trainee integrative psychotherapist working with adults, children, and adolescents. I hold an MSc in Psychology, Diploma in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapy and I am currently completing an MA in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. My work is supported by regular clinical supervision and is integrative, with a primarily relational and existential approach. It is informed by attachment based and trauma informed thinking, with attention to the connection between emotional experience, relationships, and the body.

As part of my ongoing psychotherapy training, I offer sessions at a concessionary rate for adult clients. All therapeutic work is carried out ethically and professionally and is supported by regular supervision.

I offer a thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic space where emotional experiences, patterns in relationships, and inner difficulties can be explored at a pace that feels safe and respectful. I pay close attention to how early relationships, life experiences, cultural contexts, and individual differences shape sense of self and ways of relating to others.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, confidential, and supportive space for adults, children, and adolescents. Much of my work involves people whose experiences have been shaped by trauma, including developmental trauma, and by neurodivergence. Many come feeling overwhelmed, emotionally dysregulated, or stuck in difficult relationship patterns, as well as struggling with anxiety, low mood, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others.

My focus is on supporting emotional regulation, relational understanding, and a stronger sense of self in the context of past or present life experiences. I work in an individualised and flexible way, adapting the therapeutic process to each person’s needs and pace.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to meet and begin to explore what has brought you, or your child, to therapy. There is no expectation to share everything straight away, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable and appropriate.

We will talk about current concerns, what you are hoping for from therapy, and I will explain how I work. Practical matters such as confidentiality, boundaries, session arrangements, and fees will also be discussed. For children and adolescents, this may include discussion with parents or carers where appropriate.

The first session is also a chance for you to decide whether working together feels right for you, and you are welcome to ask any questions.
