About me and my therapy practice
Are you wondering whether someone can truly understand your pain?
Sometimes the hardest part of seeking therapy is not knowing how to put your experience into words. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally distant, or quietly exhausted from carrying memories and relationships that still live within you.
You may be asking yourself: Can I finally feel safe enough to be seen?
A Space for Understanding, Healing and Growth
As an integrative and humanistic therapist, I believe our emotions hold meaning. They reflect what we have lived through, what we have lost, and what we long for. When we meet them with kindness, they can gently guide us back to ourselves.
Suffering is an unavoidable part of being human. At times, we can feel trapped in cycles of struggle or self-blame. Many of us also carry wounds from childhood, learning to survive by becoming small, strong, silent, or pleasing. These patterns can shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
Therapy can offer a space where pain becomes a doorway to gently meet what has been hurt or left unfinished, with honesty and compassion. Your inner world is welcomed here — not rushed, fixed, or judged.
I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Our work is collaborative and shaped by your story and values. My approach is culturally sensitive, recognising how identity and background shape our understanding of ourselves and the world.
If spirituality or faith is important to you, this can also be gently included and respected as part of your experience.
Practice description
Clinical Experience
I have supported clients who have experienced trauma and complex emotional difficulties, including those affected by war, displacement, and natural disasters. I offer a safe and compassionate space to begin processing overwhelming experiences and rebuilding a sense of stability.
I also work with grief, anxiety, abuse, domestic and sexual violence, and modern slavery. In addition, I support individuals exploring identity, emotional disconnection, and relationship challenges, including difficulties with trust, intimacy, and self-worth.
My experience includes working with people from diverse backgrounds, including refugees, asylum seekers, and those supported by charitable organisations.
A Gentle First Step
Our initial sessions provide a gentle, supportive space to begin getting to know you, your story, and what has led you to seek therapy, always working at a pace that feels emotionally safe for you. I also offer a free 20-minute online consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions and see whether working together feels like the right fit.
