About me and my therapy practice
Are you wondering whether someone can truly understand your pain?
Sometimes the hardest part of seeking therapy is not knowing how to put your experience into words. You may feel overwhelmed, emotionally distant, or quietly exhausted from carrying memories and relationships that still live within you.
You may be asking yourself: Can I finally feel safe enough to be seen?
As an integrative and humanistic therapist, I believe our emotions hold meaning. They reflect what we have lived through, what we have lost, and what we long for. When we meet them with kindness, they can guide us back to ourselves.
I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Our work is collaborative and shaped by your story, values, and what feels right for you. My approach is culturally sensitive, recognising how identity and background shape how we understand ourselves and the world.
If spirituality or faith is important to you, this can also be gently included and respected as part of your journey.
Practice description
I have supported clients who have experienced trauma and complex emotional difficulties, including those affected by war, displacement, and natural disasters such as earthquakes. My work involves creating a safe, compassionate space where individuals can begin to process overwhelming experiences and rebuild a sense of stability and control.
I have also worked with clients facing grief, anxiety, abuse, and the effects of domestic and sexual violence, as well as modern slavery. In addition, I support individuals exploring identity, emotional disconnection, and relationship challenges, including the long-term impact of past experiences on trust, intimacy, and self-worth. My experience includes working with people from diverse backgrounds, including refugees, asylum seekers, and those supported by charitable organisations.
My first session
Our first sessions offer a gentle space to get to know you, your story, and what has brought you to therapy, moving at a pace that feels emotionally safe.
I offer a free 20-minute online consultation where you can ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
If you would like to explore this further, you are warmly welcome to get in touch.
