About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as I’ve seen how exploring the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviour and making small, intentional changes can help people move beyond feeling stuck and create meaningful, lasting change.

My style is warm, compassionate and collaborative, always mindful that each person’s experience is unique. You bring your self-knowledge and life experience, I bring knowledge of effective techniques, experience of helping others with similar concerns and a deep commitment to supporting you, and together we get you to where you want to be.

Practice description

I work with individual adults and young people aged 16 and over. 

MY APPROACH

Warm

You'll be met with kindness and understanding in a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable sharing whatever is on your mind.

Collaborative

We’ll work together as equals, combining your perspectives and goals with my knowledge and experience of helping clients with similar concerns.

Change-focused

We will consider how past experiences have shaped you, but always with a view to improving your life in the present. We will explore practical strategies that you can apply between and beyond our sessions to promote lasting change. 

PRACTICALITIES

£55 per 50-minute session. 

I offer a reduced rate of £40 for students/low-income/pensioners. 

No requirement for a minimum number of sessions. I'm committed to working at a pace and for a duration that suits you, and understand that people's circumstances often change.

It can be difficult to know where to start finding a therapist, especially with so many options available. I offer a free 15-minute introductory session online or by phone with no further obligation to help you decide if I'm the right fit for you.
