About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified BSc (Hons) Integrative Counsellor offering trauma-informed counselling for adults.
Being an integrative counsellor means we are not limited to one way of working. Instead, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches so we can find a way of working that best supports your individual needs, rather than you needing to fit into a single model of therapy.
I believe counselling is not about someone having all the answers, but about creating a safe, supportive relationship where you can explore your experiences without judgement and begin to make sense of what feels difficult.
Alongside talking, we may gently include body awareness, grounding, breathwork, and creative approaches where helpful. These can support emotional regulation, expression, and reconnection, particularly when experiences feel overwhelming or difficult to put into words.
My work is trauma-informed and rooted in the understanding that early experiences, relationships, and our nervous system can all shape how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.
At the heart of my approach is a steady, relational way of working where we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
Practice description
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to hold on your own. You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, or finding yourself caught in patterns that keep repeating. You may feel disconnected from yourself, or experience quieter struggles that are difficult to put into words but still have a profound impact on your life.
Wherever you are right now, that is where we can begin.
I work with a wide range of concerns, with a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, low self-worth, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, identity struggles, and the impact of early experiences and trauma. I also welcome those navigating change, loss, or a general sense that something does not feel quite right, even if it is hard to define.
If something here resonates with you, I’d be pleased to arrange an initial conversation so we can explore what has brought you here and whether working together feels like the right fit.
My first session
If you are considering starting counselling but would like to talk first, I offer a free 20-minute introductory online or face to face in Norwich appointment. This is an opportunity for us to meet, discuss what brings you to counselling, and explore what you’re hoping to achieve from the process. It also allows you to ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
There’s no charge for this initial meeting and no obligation to continue. If you decide to go ahead, regular sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £50 per session.
