About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Vikki, a fully qualified humanistic counsellor and psychotherapist and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

I came to this work through my own lived experience of navigating feelings of belonging, anxiety, and my relationship with my body, as well as the challenges of life stages, loss, and menopause. I know how deeply supportive it can be to have a space where you are truly heard, understood, and welcomed just as you are.

As a humanistic therapist, I work integratively with the body, mind, and environment, drawing on Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Formative Psychology, and Eco-therapy.

With a background in professional dance and mindful movement bodywork, I offer a gentle, somatic approach that honours the connection between body and mind. Together, we listen to sensations, emotions, and the subtle ways your body speaks. I may also bring a playfulness through creative experiments and explorations, offering insight, perspective, and awareness of the patterns and protective wisdom within you.

Practice description

I work in private practice serving the areas of Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Ditchling, Hassocks, and the surrounding villages.

I offer a warm, compassionate space to explore whatever is happening for you. You don’t need to know where to start, we can begin exactly where you are. I walk alongside you with respect as we explore your unique story, moving at your pace as you discover what it means to be in relationship with your authentic self.

Our work together is shaped around what feels most supportive for you. You might find comfort in the grounding presence of in-person sessions in my quiet, welcoming therapy space in Ditchling, the flexibility of connecting online, or the gentle rhythm of walking and talking outdoors in nature.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and I tend to work in an open-ended way, offering space for deeper exploration. We regularly review our work together to ensure it continues to meet your needs.
