About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Vikki.
I am a Humanistic Psychotherapist and Registered Member MBACP, offering therapy in Ditchling, Burgess Hill and surrounding villages, as well as online.
Do you feel out of alignment with yourself, your body, or the life you are living?
I offer a calm, relational space where you are met as you are, and where all parts of your experience are welcome.
You may be experiencing overwhelm, sensitivity, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, or a sense that you are not living in a way that feels true to you. Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted from holding everything together, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they are beneath the roles they play.
You may be looking for therapy if…
You feel unsure of who you are or are going through a period of identity change
You are often overwhelmed, highly sensitive, or carrying a lot for others
You are navigating change, loss, or a significant life transition
You struggle with anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, or feeling “not enough”
You are exploring identity, belonging, or neurodivergence
You have a difficult relationship with your body, self-image, food, or self-worth
You work in a creative, performing, or embodied profession and are experiencing self-doubt, performance pressure, injury, or uncertainty around your work or direction
You want support that feels steady, relational, and human
Practice description
How I work
My approach is humanistic and relational. I work with the whole of your experience, thoughts, emotions, body awareness, and environment.
Sessions are guided by what feels most helpful for you and may include talking therapy, creative exploration, or gently noticing what is happening in the body in the present moment.
Alongside my therapy practice, I offer eco-therapy through my Wild Kin work, supporting reflection and reconnection within nature.
I believe that meaningful change often comes through developing a kinder relationship with ourselves, and through becoming more aware of patterns that may no longer be serving us.
Experience
Before training as a psychotherapist, I was a professional dancer and have many years of experience as a movement and embodied pilates teacher. This informs my understanding of the connection between body and mind, and how experiences can be held physically as well as emotionally.
I have worked as a counsellor in a hospice supporting people living with life-limiting illness, their carers, and those who are bereaved.
I have also supported women through an initiation programme focused on reclaiming voice, agency, and personal power.
Alongside my private practice, I have experience in movement education, running a holistic pilates studio, and working as an educator and mentor within professional pilates teacher training programmes.
