About me and my therapy practice

I’m a psychotherapeutic counsellor working with adults and teenagers who feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck. Life may appear fine, with work, study, family and responsibility all managed. However you may feel overwhelmed without fully knowing why, or you know exactly what’s wrong but feel stuck.

Sometimes this can be linked to past experiences or trauma that hasn’t been fully processed, the kind that stays with us quietly, shaping how we feel, think and relate, even when life looks okay on the surface. You may be tired of carrying things alone or tired of analysing yourself.

I believe meaningful change happens through the therapeutic relationship itself. Working relationally means paying attention to what unfolds between us, offering a space where experiences, including past trauma can be understood with care and at a depth that supports lasting change.

Practice description

My practice offers one-to-one psychotherapy for adults and teenagers, both face to face and online. I work with people who may appear to be coping on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected internally.

Sessions are collaborative and focused on what you bring. I work in a person-centred and relational way, offering warmth, honesty, and appropriate challenge where it supports change. The work isn’t about quick fixes, but about understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, and creating movement where things feel stuck.

My first session

The first session is a chance for us to meet and begin to understand what has brought you to therapy. There is no assessment to prepare and no pressure to arrive with everything worked out. We’ll spend time exploring what’s been going on for you, what you’re hoping for from therapy, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
