About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in working with adults experiencing anxiety, whether that’s constant overthinking, relationship worries, or a deeper sense of feeling stuck or unsettled.
Alongside my private practice, I work within the NHS as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, supporting clients with more complex and long-standing emotional difficulties and trauma. This has shaped a way of working that is both grounded and effective.
Practice description
I’m not a therapist who will just sit and nod. I work in a direct, honest, and supportive way helping you understand what’s driving your anxiety and where patterns may be keeping you stuck. From there, we focus on creating real change.
You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal. You may come with a sense that something isn’t working, and that’s enough to start.
If that feels like you, you are welcome to reach out.
My first session
The first session is a chance for us to meet and begin to understand what has brought you to therapy. There is no assessment to prepare and no pressure to arrive with everything worked out. We’ll spend time exploring what’s been going on for you, what you’re hoping for from therapy, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
