Availability

I currently have availability online and can be flexible when it comes to initial consultations. I work Monday through Friday and the hours are varied as I try to be as available as possible for my clients- we can discuss which days and hours work for you during the consultation and I will always try and accommodate. 

About me and my therapy practice

I have over a decade experience working with mental health, personal development and recovery; working as a counsellor, life coach, and hypnotherapist. My focus is fairly simple and contained; I work with people who are actively trying to better their situation- be that personal development, relationships, or work. We will explore your current situation and experience, then move on to discussing the version of you you'd like to become. The focus of our work then becomes the barriers that are in your way- self sabotage, old stories, subconscious beliefs, habits, behaviours that no longer serve you, fears, judgement etc. 

Through a solution focused approach (whilst of course still entirely working at your pace) we will break through each wall that is between you and the life you want to be living, and get as colourful a picture as we can of what that will look like. 

How long we work together is entirely up to you, and we can either work on the big picture or on smaller goals, whichever is feeling achievable. Our sessions can be a wonderful space to be held accountable whilst also keeping focus on who you're becoming and the old stories that are trying to keep you safe and keep you where you are. I have years of experience as a personal development coach and this works perfectly in tandem with solution focused therapeutic work as you can go at your own pace, free of judgement, while also having a space to reflect on your growth and next steps. 

Practice description

I work with a breadth of topics and issues, but my specialties are in anxiety, relationships, personal development, and breaking through old stories so that you can evolve and elevate your experience. I love working with boundaries, healthier relationships, and how to overcome the parts of you that no longer serve you but that are still impacting how you show up. 

Whether you're wanting to feel more confident in your abilities, have stronger boundaries in your relationships (romantic, friendship, or familial) or just generally have a better understanding of why you act or behave the way you do, this work can support you. It it transformative to have a deeper understanding of yourself and it is the first step in then changing those behaviours, having control over your responses and reactions, and changing how you see yourself. 

I also have a wealth of experience working with low mood and depression and this is often where I see the biggest changes in my clients- to see clearly the pattern or loop you are in, and to then slowly extricate yourself from it so that you feel back in control of your mood and your days. I'd gently support you in looking in that mirror, to having accountability without it feeling rushed or pressured or overwhelming. 

My first session

In our consultation we can speak about your expectations and needs, and how I might support the issues you bring- this can be a great opportunity to see if we would work well together and if you can see yourself working with me, so please do reach out and I'd be delighted to arrange a consult. 


For our first session working together, I'd ask more in depth questions about your current situation, and ask you to expand on the understanding you currently have of yourself. We'd also create the outline of what your hopes are and where you want to be and who you want to become. Sometimes this is the hardest question of all, but we have time for you to become more comfortable with asking yourself what your needs are and what you want, and I'd help you in befriending this initial discomfort. Sometimes clients bring one big issue that's currently bothering them and impacting their life, and we work through this one session at a time. Other times clients have a host of things they want to explore in tandem, culminating in them feeling more complete and in control as a person. Everyone is different and I love hearing how you best work and what you feel would be most helpful to you- I will always do my best to adapt my working style to what you find most helpful.
