About me and my therapy practice

Hi I’m Auberon, I came to counselling later in life, after years working in the creative world and navigating my own ups and downs. I’m a parent, and I understand what it’s like to juggle responsibilities while struggling inside. I am aware how change can be unsettling and necessary at the same time. It is important to me that my clients have the steady and confidential space where they don’t have to pretend, just be themselves. From this place we work together helping you navigate through situations you need support with or perhaps helping you towards a future you want to reach. Change really is possible.

I help with anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, grief, trauma, burnout, ADHD/neurodiversity, low self-esteem, relationships and repeating patterns, and anything else you need to bring. I offer person-centred, integrative therapy, short or long term, online or in person, at your pace.

I recognise that finding the right therapist for yourself or another can feel daunting. My aim is that you feel safe, heard and genuinely understood here. If something in my approach resonates, please feel comfortable reaching out and we can begin to see how therapy can support you.

Practice description

I offer a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is troubling you. People come to therapy for many reasons, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, loss, trauma, life transitions, or a general sense that something isn’t quite right. You don’t need to have everything worked out before you begin.

My core approach is Person-Centred counselling, meaning our work is guided by your experiences, your pace and what matters most to you. I believe that when you feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted, meaningful change becomes possible. Alongside this, I integrate ideas from Transactional Analysis, psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness-informed approaches, where these are helpful. This allows us to explore both present-day concerns and deeper, often unconscious patterns that may have developed through earlier experiences and relationships.

Therapy with me is collaborative and reflective rather than prescriptive. I won’t tell you what to think or how to live, but I will support you in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and understanding of yourself and your relationships. Some sessions may feel steady and grounding; others may involve gently exploring difficult feelings or long-standing beliefs. We will always work at a pace that feels safe for you.

I work with adults aged 18 and over, offering both short-term and open-ended therapy. Sessions are available face-to-face in Huntingdon and online for clients elsewhere. Whatever brings you to therapy, my aim is to help you feel more connected to yourself, clearer about your choices, and better equipped to move forward.
