About me and my therapy practice
When you want more from your relationship
You may still care deeply about each other but keep ending up in the same painful place. The same argument returns. One of you pushes to be heard while the other withdraws. Sex or affection has changed, trust has been shaken, or perhaps there is simply more distance between you than there used to be.
You may also be coming on your own, feeling anxious, low, hard on yourself or caught in relationship patterns you cannot quite make sense of.
I offer specialist online therapy for couples and individuals across the UK. Much of my work is with couples whose lives are already full. Work may be demanding, family life busy, and finding time to focus properly on the relationship increasingly difficult. I offer flexible online appointments to make regular therapy easier to fit around the rest of life.
I trained at Tavistock Relationships. My style is thoughtful, direct and engaged. I will not simply sit back and watch the same argument happen in front of me. I help you slow things down, notice how you get pulled into familiar patterns and stay with things that may be easier to avoid. I may also ask questions that help us get closer to what has been difficult to say or face.
You do not need to tidy things up before bringing them to therapy. Anger, resentment, shame, uncertainty, sexual difficulties and things that feel hard to admit can all have a place in the work.
As a male therapist of mixed heritage, I also bring sensitivity to how family, race, culture, gender and different backgrounds can shape relationships and the ways we experience ourselves and each other.
Practice description
Most of my work is with couples who still care about each other but have become stuck in ways they have not been able to shift alone.
You might be struggling with:
• repeated arguments and communication problems
• emotional distance or feeling disconnected
• changes in sex, affection or intimacy
• loneliness within the relationship
• feeling unheard, rejected, blamed or shut out
• affairs, betrayal or loss of trust
• uncertainty about whether the relationship can change
You may both be trying hard to make things better while somehow ending up further apart. I do not take sides or decide who is right. I am interested in what happens between you when one of you feels hurt, ignored, unwanted or under pressure, and what each of you may be protecting when things become difficult.
I also work individually with people who want to understand themselves and their relationships differently. You may be used to holding things together for other people while finding it harder to say what you need, how angry you are or how deeply something has affected you.
My approach is psychodynamic and relational. I am interested in what is happening now, but also in the experiences and expectations that may be shaping how you relate to yourself and others.
If you want more than simply being listened to, we may work well together. I will listen carefully, stay with difficult material, notice patterns and sometimes challenge you to look at something differently.
My first session
Our first meeting takes place online and lasts 50 minutes.
If you are coming as a couple, I will give each of you space to tell me how the relationship feels from where you are standing and what has brought you to therapy now. You do not need to agree about the problem or about what needs to change.
If you are coming individually, you do not need to arrive with a clear explanation for how you feel. We can begin with what is happening in your life now and become curious about where it takes us.
You also do not need to make the difficult parts easier for me to hear.
The first consultation is a chance for me to understand something of what has brought you here, and for you to get a real sense of me and how I work. We can then decide whether this feels like the right place to continue.
The initial couples consultation is £80 for 50 minutes. Ongoing couples therapy is £120 for 50 minutes. Individual therapy is £80 for 50 minutes.
I offer flexible online appointments to help make regular therapy possible around work, family and other commitments.
What I can help with

About me and my therapy practice
When closeness has become distance
You may still care deeply about each other but no longer feel as close. Sex may have become less frequent, difficult to talk about or stopped altogether. One of you may feel rejected or unwanted while the other feels pressure, withdraws or struggles to explain what has changed.
Sometimes an affair or loss of trust has shaken the relationship. At other times the change is quieter. You may have become good at managing children, work and everyday life while wondering where the couple has gone.
I specialise in couples therapy around sex, intimacy, trust and changes in closeness. These can bring anger, shame, resentment, rejection and things that feel difficult to admit even to each other. You do not need to tidy those feelings up before bringing them to therapy.
I won’t take sides or simply watch the same argument happen in front of me. I will help us slow things down, notice what each of you brings into the pattern and ask questions that may get closer to what has become difficult to say.
My role is not to push you towards staying together or separating. It is to help you understand what has happened between you, what keeps pulling you back into the same places, and whether you can begin relating differently.
Practice description
Couples therapy and relationship counselling can offer somewhere to talk about parts of a relationship that may have become surrounded by silence, hurt or pressure.
I help couples with:
• sex and intimacy
• loss of desire or differences in sexual desire
• physical affection and emotional closeness
• affairs and infidelity
• rebuilding trust
• feeling rejected or unwanted
• becoming parents and relationships after having a baby
Sometimes you miss affection but feel awkward trying to get it back. One person may want more sex or intimacy while the other pulls away. Both of you can end up feeling rejected in different ways.
Where there has been an affair or loss of trust, there may be anger, guilt, hurt and unanswered questions. Couples therapy can help you make sense of what has happened and what it means for the relationship.
Parenthood can bring another kind of change. Becoming parents can affect your roles, your energy and how much you have left for each other. It can be surprisingly lonely to miss your partner while living alongside them every day.
My role isn't to push you towards staying together or separating. I can help you understand what has changed between you and what greater closeness, honesty or clarity might look like.
I also offer online couples therapy across the UK.
My first session
The first couples therapy session gives each of you some space to tell me how the relationship feels from where you're standing.
I'll ask what has brought you now, what has changed and what each of you hopes might be different. I may also ask about the history of your relationship and what happens when one of you feels rejected, hurt or under pressure.
If sex or intimacy has become difficult, you won't be expected to talk about anything before you're ready. If there has been an affair or loss of trust, you don't need to already know what you want to do about the relationship.
The first session is a chance for me to understand you both and for you to get a sense of how I can help.
For our first meeting, I charge £80 for a 50-minute consultation. If we decide to continue working together, we would usually meet weekly. Ongoing couples therapy is £120 for 50 minutes.

About me and my therapy practice
Helping couples understand what has come between them
You may still care deeply about each other but keep ending up in the same painful place. A conversation that starts small becomes another argument. One of you pushes to be heard while the other withdraws. Or perhaps there are fewer arguments now, but more silence, distance and a growing sense that you have lost each other somewhere along the way.
Sometimes there has been a clear crisis. At other times nothing dramatic has happened. You may simply feel lonely together, notice that sex or affection has changed, or find that attempts to talk leave you both feeling misunderstood.
I offer specialist couples therapy in Enfield, North London, and online. I help couples get closer to what is happening between them, especially when feelings of rejection, pressure, anger, disappointment or not being enough keep pulling you back into the same pattern.
I trained at Tavistock Relationships. My style is thoughtful, direct and engaged. I will not simply sit back and watch the same argument happen in front of me. I will help you slow things down, notice how each of you gets pulled into the pattern and stay with things that may be easier to avoid. At times, I may ask questions that bring us closer to something that has been difficult to face.
You do not need to tidy things up before bringing them into the room. Resentment, shame, anger, uncertainty, sexual difficulties and things that feel hard to admit can all be part of the work.
As a male therapist of mixed Black heritage, I also bring sensitivity to how family, race, culture, gender and different backgrounds can shape a relationship and the ways two people experience one another.
Practice description
Something between you may have become difficult to change on your own.
You might be struggling with:
• repeated arguments and communication problems
• emotional distance or feeling disconnected
• changes in sex, affection or intimacy
• loneliness within the relationship
• feeling unheard, rejected, blamed or shut out
• affairs, betrayal or loss of trust
• uncertainty about whether the relationship can change
You may be caught in a pattern where one of you pushes to talk while the other pulls away. Both of you may be trying to feel understood while somehow leaving the other feeling further away.
I do not take sides or decide who is right. I am interested in what happens between you when one of you feels hurt, ignored, unwanted or under pressure. We can begin to understand not only what you argue about, but what keeps bringing you back to the same place.
My approach is psychodynamic and relational. This means paying attention to what is happening between you now, while also thinking about the experiences and expectations each of you brings into the relationship.
Couples therapy is not only for relationships at breaking point. Some couples come because they can feel something changing and want to understand it before the distance becomes harder to bridge.
My first session
In the first session, I will give each of you space to tell me how the relationship feels from where you are standing and what has brought you to therapy now.
I will ask about what has been happening between you, some of the history of your relationship and what tends to happen when things become difficult. We may already begin to notice patterns that are harder to see when you are caught inside them.
You do not need to arrive agreeing about the problem or knowing what you want to happen next. You also do not need to make the difficult parts of your relationship easier for me to hear.
The first meeting is a chance for me to understand something of the two of you, and for you to get a real sense of me and how I work.
The initial 50 minute consultation is £80. If we decide to continue, we would usually meet weekly. Ongoing couples therapy is £120 for 50 minutes.

About me and my therapy practice
When things feel harder than they should
You might be managing life reasonably well on the outside while finding it much harder underneath. Your mind rarely switches off. You replay conversations, worry about what other people think of you, or become unsettled when someone you care about feels distant.
Sometimes there is no single reason for coming to therapy. You may feel anxious, low, overwhelmed or increasingly hard on yourself. Or perhaps something keeps repeating in your relationships and you have started to wonder why you keep ending up in the same place.
I offer personal therapy in Winchmore Hill, Enfield and online. I trained in individual and couple psychodynamic therapy at Tavistock Relationships, where I now work as a visiting clinician.
My style is thoughtful, direct and engaged. I won’t only listen or rush to give you an explanation. I will help you notice patterns, ask questions that get closer to what is happening and stay with things that may be easier to avoid.
You may be used to holding things together for other people while finding it harder to say what you need, how angry you are or how deeply something has affected you. You do not need to make those parts of yourself easier for me to hear. Therapy can offer somewhere to bring more of yourself and become curious about what happens when you do.
Practice description
Personal therapy, counselling and psychotherapy can give you somewhere to talk about things that may be difficult to make sense of alone.
I help people with:
• anxiety and overthinking
• stress and pressure at work
• feeling overwhelmed or finding it difficult to cope
• low self-esteem and self-criticism
• relationship problems and repeating patterns
• dating, intimacy, break-ups and loneliness
• family pressures and difficult family relationships
• questions around race, culture, belonging or who you are
You may find yourself trying hard to keep other people happy, worrying about rejection or becoming unsettled when someone you care about feels distant. Perhaps similar relationship difficulties keep returning even when the people or circumstances change.
Family expectations can leave you caught between what you want and what other people need from you. At work, you may put pressure on yourself to keep going even when you're struggling underneath.
In individual therapy, we can think about what is happening now and become curious about why certain feelings or patterns keep returning. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, so I won't simply tell you how you should think or behave. We'll try to understand more about what may be happening underneath.
I offer individual therapy in Winchmore Hill and Enfield, alongside online therapy and online counselling across the UK.
My first session
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or having the right words for it.
The first session is a chance for me to hear what life feels like from where you're standing. I may ask about what is happening now, your relationships, work or family, and anything from earlier in your life that feels important.
Sometimes people arrive with something very specific they want help with. Other times they simply know that things have become harder and they would like somewhere to think.
It is also a chance for you to get a sense of me. Therapy is a particular kind of relationship, and whether you feel able to talk and think with me matters.
For our first meeting, I charge £50 for a 50-minute consultation. If we decide to continue, we would usually meet weekly. Ongoing personal therapy is £80 for 50 minutes.
I can sometimes offer lower-cost therapy depending on availability.
Sessions are available in Winchmore Hill, Enfield or online.
