About me and my therapy practice

Hi I'm Becca and welcome to my counselling practice: The Therapy Club.

I'm a fully qualified counsellor offering person centred counselling, using integrative techniques to tailor sessions to suit your needs.

I offer virtual sessions based solely through telephone or video, allowing you to engage with therapy from the comfort of your own home, as well as face to face sessions at my home based practice in Hindley, Wigan.

If you are feeling stuck, going through a difficult experience, or life's everyday struggles are becoming too overwhelming, maybe we could work together to explore what is going on for you and give you a space to make sense of things.

Practice description

The Therapy Club is a space where anyone is welcome. You will be greeted with warmth, acceptance and understanding, and more importantly a place where you will feel truly listened to and understood.

I have experience helping individual's to work through many challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress and burnout. I have provided therapy across mental health services, and domestic abuse charities, as well as working with people experiencing relationship difficulties, family challenges, identity conflict, and grief.

You don't need to carry everything alone, and through counselling with The Therapy Club, we can share this journey together.

My first session

It's really important to make sure that you feel comfortable with me as a counsellor before we begin therapy, and that we both feel like a good match to work together - this is why a free 20 minute introductory session will be offered at the start.

This session will involve getting to know each other, and it's an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what to expect from our sessions.

If we are both in agreement to work together, you can go ahead and book your first session. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but this is time dedicated to working on yourself. You should ensure that you are able to fully commit, usually between 6 - 12 sessions that take place weekly, although some flexibility can be offered.
