About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) offering therapy in private practice. I provide a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where clients can explore difficulties without judgement. My approach combines evidence-based CBT techniques with person-centred values of empathy, warmth, and collaboration.
My journey towards qualifying as a CBT therapist was inspired by benefiting from CBT myself as a client, so I know that is it is like to be taking these first steps in seeking therapy. I would love to have a chat about how CBT may be able to help you address difficulties and make a positive difference to your life.
Practice description
I work with clients who may be experiencing anxiety and/or depression related to past or current issues. I also work with grief and loss, focusing on acceptance and moving forward from these difficult life events. During our initial sessions, we will talk about what you want to work on during our time together, and we will work together on a plan to help you get to the outcomes you would like to achieve. Most of my clients see improvements in symptoms within 6-8 sessions.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to explain a bit about my practice and see if we are a good fit for each other and what you want to get out of the therapeutic process.
