About me and my therapy practice
Hello!
I am a registered counsellor working part-time in private practice in Peckham, East Dulwich and online.
I work integratively, tailoring therapy to each individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
I have helped people in the past with depression, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and domestic abuse (emotional, physical and financial)
I also feel passionately about women’s health, including PMS and PMDD.
I offer a safe and confidential space to talk about and explore what is troubling you so that together we can start to make sense of your feelings and concerns.
If you are unsure whether therapy is right for you, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call to see whether we are a good fit, with no pressure to book afterwards.
Practice description
I work using an integrative approach, which means I adapt the therapy to you rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model. I see each person as an individual, shaped by many different experiences, relationships, and internal processes.
My work draws primarily on person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. This often involves gently exploring past experiences and relational patterns while staying grounded in what is happening for you in the present. For some clients, particularly those who have experienced abuse, I may also use psychoeducation to help make sense of emotional responses and behaviours.
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and the emotional impact of difficult or distressing life experiences. This includes supporting people living with the effects of narcissistic abuse, navigating grief or loss, feeling worn down by sustained corporate pressure, struggling with a relationship, or readjusting to life after a particularly challenging period.
Many people I work with feel emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Others come to therapy at a point of transition, wanting space to reflect, heal, and regain a sense of clarity and direction.
You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You may simply be noticing that something no longer feels sustainable.
My first session
During our first session, we will cover a few different elements of therapy. Namely, we will assess how we can work together therapeutically and what you want from therapy. We will also discuss the matter of confidentiality, what this means and how it applies to our work together.
I offer a free 20-minute intro call, for those who are unsure. There is no obligation or pressure to commit afterwards. During this call, I will explain how I work, find out more about you and answer any questions.
First sessions are charged at my standard rate of £55 for a 50-minute session.
Reduced fee sessions are offered as a block of 12 sessions at £40 per 50-minute session. These are available for clients in receipt of PIP, Jobseeker’s Allowance, or Universal Credit.
If cost is a concern, please still get in touch to discuss options or alternative support.
