About me and my therapy practice

I offer online therapy to adults who want or need a safe, non-judgemental space to explore their feelings and experiences. This may be the first time you have truly felt listened to and accepted. Starting therapy can feel daunting, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.

I specialise in working with neurodivergent adults, particularly those with lesser-known neurodivergent profiles, helping them feel heard, understood, and accepted. My work also focuses on the emotional impact and trauma that can come with navigating life as a neurodivergent person, including rejection, exclusion and the lasting effects of feeling different or unseen.

I also have a particular interest in supporting adults who have experienced childhood difficulties and may struggle with relationships or low self-worth.

Practice description

I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to the work, and I aim to offer a consistent, supportive space where trust can develop over time.  Sessions take place at the same time and place every week in order to create a reliable and containing space.

Sessions are led by you, giving you space and agency to decide what feels important to focus on. I understand this can feel difficult at times, and I will be there to support you throughout the process. I am always open to exploring non-verbal approaches if words feel stuck or hard to access.

I am an integrative therapist, drawing mainly from psychodynamic and person-centred theory.  We can explore how past experiences influence present patterns or stay in the here and now depending on your needs, wishes and presenting issues.

I'm not here to give you advice or tell you what to do. I hope to understand your experience and support you in coming to your own answers.

My first session

Prior to our first session, I offer a free 15-minute call to help us get to know each other, answer any questions and support you in deciding whether I am the right therapist for you.

We will spend time going over the contract in the first session so you know what to expect from therapy.  I may also ask you questions about your past and present experience to help inform our work.
