About me and my therapy practice

I have trained in Transpersonal Psychosynthesis Counselling, with a particular emphasis on childhood trauma and its ongoing impact on present-day experiences. I have also worked as a Solution Focused Therapist for Lambeth NHS, offering focused, goal-oriented therapy to support individuals in navigating their challenges. I have worked with all levels of risk and trauma at IAPTUS Level 3.

I facilitate men’s group retreats working with trauma and healing in group circles.

I co-founded Kuu London an osteopathy and complementary therapy clinic and have gained extensive knowledge of various healing modalities—both medical and holistic, Eastern and Western. My background is rooted in years of meditation practice, self-enquiry, and the study of Vedic knowledge and traditions. I have taught meditation to students of all levels.

Specialisms

Burnout & Stress-Related Exhaustion

I support clients experiencing chronic stress, burnout, or exhaustion, which can affect your mind, body, and emotions. Common signs include fatigue, sleep difficulties, brain fog, low mood, irritability, and anxiety, impacting work, relationships, and daily life. We explore self-compassion, boundaries, nervous system regulation, and sustainable ways to regain control and thrive.

Anger & Emotional Management

I help clients understand and manage anger, irritability, and strong emotions. Anger can show as outbursts, tension, self-criticism, or withdrawal. Often rooted in unmet needs from childhood, we work to identify triggers, express needs, and respond to challenges more effectively, improving relationships and personal wellbeing.

Relationship Challenges

I work with individuals and couples to improve communication, attachment, and emotional patterns. Sessions focus on building healthy boundaries, fostering understanding, and creating stronger connections.

Practice description

I work from a discreet counselling room in East London (near Old Street, EC2A) and also offer online sessions via Zoom for your convenience.

Free Consultation – No Obligation:

If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, you can book a free 20-minute call to discuss your needs and how I can support you. There’s no obligation to continue, and if you leave me a message, I will respond within 24 hours.

My first session

1. Brief Therapy (6–12 sessions):

This is focused, goal-oriented counselling designed to explore one main struggle in depth. We work together to understand what’s happening, uncover patterns, and develop practical strategies to move forward. Brief therapy is ideal if you want structured support with a clear endpoint.

2. Open-Ended Weekly Therapy:

For those who want to explore longer-term change, open-ended therapy provides a weekly space to examine underlying beliefs, past experiences, and patterns that may be holding you back. Together, we’ll explore the roots of old, “stuck” beliefs and work toward sustainable growth and personal change.

Both approaches provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can speak freely, gain clarity, and develop healthier ways to cope.

Practical Details:

In the first session, we discuss your goals, your current challenges, and how therapy can support you.

There’s no obligation to continue after the first session — it’s an opportunity to see if we’re the right fit.

Sessions can be in-person in East London (near Old Street, EC2A) or online via Zoom.
