About me and my therapy practice

Wondering what is holding you back from moving forward? Feeling lost and confused? Low or anxious?

As an Integrative Psychosynthesis and Soul Care Therapist, I sit with that there is a life transition happening for you. Although challenging, painful and uncomfortable, I hold the belief a butterfly is being formed from the caterpillar. A new version of you with more freedom, authenticity and self-acceptance is emerging from the darkness of the pupa stage. This stage can be a difficult process, however, which is why having the space to compassionately reflect and intentionally voice feelings can be supportive.

In our sessions we explore your life in a creative way, allowing intuition, symbols and archetypes to guide us deeper into healing and reflection. Storytelling, painting and visualisation techniques can be powerful allies, supporting us to befriend and listen to untold tales within.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are an expert in your own life. As a Psychosynthesis practitioner I hold that we are navigating a journey towards wholeness and coming home to yourself. This often comes through developing the sense of awareness of what is unfolding for you, moment to moment which is why the practices of Mindfulness can be very helpful. Through being present to what is stirring within you, a new sense of knowing is allowed to emerge, guiding you onwards.

Practice description

I specialise in Psychological and Soul growth Astrology. Both C. G. Jung as well as the founder of Psychosynthesis, R. Assagioli used their client’s unique birth charts, based on the moment of birth, to further gain understanding of their inner archetypal world.

Similarly, if you are curious, we can use your birth chart to help navigate your current challenges.

You might also choose to work with me for the following reasons:

- Having moved to the UK from a different culture

- Enjoy the Outdoors and being in Nature

- Wishing to engage your Creative and Intuitive self

I work with grief, loss, anxiety, depression, purpose finding, work and relationship transitions.

I offer and draw on tools such as Archetypal astrology, Art therapy, Nature Walk & Talk, Horticultural therapy and Guided visualisation techniques.

About me

From as early as my teens I remember wishing to become a therapist. The vision of a sacred space to listen to my fellow life-travellers floated somewhere in my consciousness, in which to reflect on the mystery of living.

In my early 20’s I moved from Sweden, where I grew up, to the UK in search of adventure and following what I would later come to define as a soul calling. A strange pull through stories, music and landscape was becoming too strong to ignore. Eventually, finding my way to the wild west of Cornwall I feel in love with the ancient Celtic landscape and put down roots.

I have always been engaged in stories, nature, art-making and self-reflection, often with the aid of astrology. I hope to bring these resources to the healing journey to support our work together.

I am a qualified Psychosynthesis counsellor as well as trained in Psychological and Evolutionary Astrology. I also hold a BA(Hons) in Fine Art.

My first session

Our first session will be one of me getting an overview of your life, the main events of your life as well as what brings you to therapy now.

This will probably include more questions than subsequent sessions. From here we can a better understanding of what would be most helpful for you at this point.

As a Psychosynthesis therapist my practice is based on holding a safe space in which you can reflect on what is coming up for you. Through attentive listening I can offer a gentle environment in which you might bring awareness and compassion to your experience.
