About me and my therapy practice

I am an empathetic, integrative counsellor, primarily person-centred, providing a warm and safe space where you can feel truly heard and supported. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and psychodynamic techniques, tailoring sessions to your individual needs. My approach is flexible, depending on whether clients prefer short-term support or longer-term therapy, and collaborative, helping clients work through challenges such as anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and life transitions. Sessions are online via WhatsApp Video or Microsoft Teams, with the aim of helping you feel understood, valued, and more confident.

Practice description

I am an integrative counsellor with a primarily person-centred approach, offering a warm, safe, and empathetic space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I believe that being truly heard and understood is the foundation for meaningful change.

Alongside person-centred work, I integrate techniques from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), and psychodynamic approaches, tailoring sessions to your individual needs and goals. This flexibility allows me to support a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and life transitions.

I offer 50-minute online sessions via WhatsApp Video or Microsoft Teams, making therapy accessible and convenient. I work collaboratively with clients to explore underlying patterns, develop practical strategies when needed, and provide a supportive space for reflection and personal growth.

Whether you’re seeking short-term support for a specific challenge or longer-term therapy for deeper personal exploration, my aim is to help you feel understood, supported, and more confident.

Every client’s journey is unique, and my approach is flexible to meet your needs. You can expect a caring and safe space where you are truly heard.

My first session

Before starting therapy, I provide clients with a referral form, therapy contract, and privacy notice. These documents can be reviewed and discussed together during the initial session, ensuring everything is clear and agreed upon. I usually also complete GAD-7 and PHQ-9 questionnaires to help understand your current levels of anxiety and depression and guide the therapy process. The session is a safe, supportive space where you can ask questions and start exploring your goals
