About me and my therapy practice
My work is grounded in an integrative, relational approach, with a foundation in psychosynthesis. I see therapy as a collaborative and exploratory process—one that supports you not only in understanding your difficulties, but in discovering new ways of being with yourself and your life.
I’m particularly interested in the moments where something is shifting—when old patterns no longer fit, but what comes next isn’t yet clear. These thresholds can show up in many forms: anxiety, loss, identity questions, relationship struggles, or a sense of being stuck or disconnected. Rather than trying to “fix” these experiences, I work with them as meaningful signals, helping you to explore what they might be asking of you.
My approach brings together talking therapy with attention to the body, emotions, and deeper meaning-making. I draw on somatic awareness, relational depth, and psychosynthesis principles to support a process that is both grounded and expansive. Together, we create a space where all parts of you are welcome: your thoughts, feelings, history, and potential.
Across all my work, I aim to offer a steady, attuned presence where you can feel safe enough to explore, reflect, and move toward change at your own pace.
I currently work online with clients, offering a flexible and accessible space for therapy that fits into the realities of everyday life.
Practice description
My practice, Threshold Therapy, is centred around supporting people through periods of change, uncertainty, and inner transition. Clients often come to me when something in their life feels unsettled—whether that’s anxiety, a loss of direction, relationship difficulties, or a deeper sense that something needs to shift.
In our work together, you can expect a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where we move at a pace that feels right for you. I won’t position myself as the expert on your life; instead, I work alongside you, helping you to make sense of your experience and to find your own way forward.
Sessions are primarily conversational, but I may also invite gentle attention to bodily experience, emotional patterns, and imagery where helpful. This can support a deeper understanding that goes beyond thinking alone, particularly when working with anxiety, trauma, or long-standing patterns.
As an online practice, sessions take place via secure video, offering consistency and accessibility wherever you are. I aim to create a space that feels contained and reliable, even through a screen.
Whether you are navigating a specific difficulty or a more general sense of transition, therapy can offer a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters to you.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get a sense of one another and explore what has brought you to therapy at this time. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance, simply come as you are.
We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what you might be hoping for from therapy, and any questions or uncertainties you may have. I may ask some gentle questions about your background and current circumstances to help build a fuller picture, but there is no formal assessment process.
This initial meeting is also a space for you to get a feel for how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. There is no obligation to continue after the first session.
Sessions are held online via secure video. I charge my standard session fee for the first session, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
