About me and my therapy practice

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, overthinking, or held back by past experiences they cannot seem to move beyond. I specialise in helping clients understand these patterns while developing practical ways to feel calmer, more confident, and able to move forward.

I am an integrative therapist specialising in anxiety and recovery, supporting clients who feel stuck in patterns of worry, stress, panic, or emotional overwhelm, as well as those affected by past experiences that continue to influence their present lives. I offer a supportive and focused therapeutic space where clients can both understand their difficulties and begin making meaningful changes.

My approach combines thoughtful exploration with practical, forward-moving work. I believe lasting change comes from both insight and action. Together, we explore past experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable, helping you make sense of patterns, build self-understanding, and work towards peace and closure where possible. I believe the past is important to explore, but therapy also needs to support real change in the present.

Alongside deeper therapeutic work, I help clients develop practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, improve self-confidence, and feel more grounded in everyday life. Therapy is always guided by your individual needs — some clients benefit from reflection and understanding, others from structured strategies and clear steps forward, and often therapy involves both.

My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

Practice description

I offer online therapy sessions, providing a flexible and accessible way to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Working online removes the stress of travel and allows therapy to fit more easily into busy lives, helping clients attend sessions consistently and prioritise their wellbeing.

Many people are unsure at first whether online therapy will feel as personal or effective as meeting in person. In practice, clients often find that working from a familiar environment helps them feel more relaxed and able to talk openly. A strong therapeutic relationship can be built online, and research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face counselling for issues such as anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm.

All sessions take place via a secure and confidential platform, ensuring your privacy at all times. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and focused therapeutic space where you feel safe to explore your experiences at your own pace.

Sessions are guided by your individual needs and combine reflective exploration with practical strategies to support meaningful and lasting change.

My first session

First Session

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to therapy. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable — there is no pressure to go into everything straight away.

Many people feel nervous before their first session, especially if therapy is new to them. This is completely natural, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

We will talk about your current difficulties, what you would like support with, and any goals or hopes you may have for therapy. I may also ask some gentle questions about your background and past experiences to begin building a fuller understanding of your situation, always working at a pace that feels right for you.

The first session is also a space for you to ask questions and get a sense of how I work, so you can decide whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. Feeling safe and comfortable with your therapist is an important part of the process.

By the end of the session, we can reflect together on what you need moving forward and discuss how we might work together in a way that best supports you.

What to Expect

In therapy with me, you can expect a supportive, non-judgemental space where your needs guide the process. We work collaboratively, combining exploration of past experiences with practical steps to help you feel more in control and confident in the present.

Some sessions may focus on understanding patterns, making sense of difficult experiences, and finding peace or closure with the past. Other sessions may emphasise practical strategies to manage anxiety, build resilience, and create meaningful change in everyday life. Most clients benefit from a balance of both reflection and action.

You can expect therapy to be flexible, paced to suit you, and tailored to your goals. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered, so that therapy supports real progress and lasting change.
