About me and my therapy practice

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck, struggling with your confidence, or finding that you no longer feel quite like yourself. Perhaps you are dealing with changes in your relationships or family life, carrying feelings that are difficult to share, or simply know that something needs to change.

I offer warm, compassionate and non-judgemental counselling for adults online and by telephone. I work with concerns including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, loss, loneliness, stress and significant life changes.

I also have a particular interest in supporting women and mothers who feel overwhelmed or have lost touch with who they are, as well as parents navigating separation, co-parenting or complex family circumstances. You do not need to fit neatly into any of these experiences to contact me.

As a person-centred counsellor, I will not tell you what to do or assume that I know what is best for you. Instead, I will listen with empathy and genuine curiosity, giving you space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Counselling can help you make sense of what you are experiencing, understand yourself more deeply and begin to find a way forward that feels right for you. Reaching out can feel daunting, so I aim to create a relationship in which you feel safe, heard and accepted.

Practice description

Starting counselling can feel like a big step, and it is natural to feel uncertain or anxious about reaching out. I offer a warm, confidential and accepting space where you can be yourself and talk openly, without fear of judgement.

The counselling relationship is at the heart of my practice. When you feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted, it can become easier to make sense of difficult emotions, understand yourself more deeply and begin to find a way forward that feels right for you.

I offer short-term and longer-term counselling online and by telephone. If you are unsure whether counselling (or I) might be right for you, we can arrange a free, no-obligation introductory conversation where you can ask questions and get a sense of how it might feel to work together..

My first session

After you contact me, we can arrange a brief introductory telephone call free of charge. This is an opportunity for you to tell me a little about what has brought you to counselling, ask any questions and get a sense of whether I might be the right counsellor for you.

There is no obligation to book a session afterwards. If you would like to continue, sessions last 50 minutes and cost £50.
