Availability

I offer online therapy sessions and aim to be flexible when arranging appointments. If you are interested in working together, we can usually find a regular time that fits with both of our schedules.

Sessions are 60 minutes and can take place weekly or fortnightly, depending on what feels most supportive and sustainable for you.

I understand that work schedules, caring responsibilities and life circumstances can change, so I try to approach scheduling in a practical and human way wherever possible.

If you are interested in beginning therapy, please get in touch and we can discuss current availability and possible session times.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an online therapist working with adults who want to understand themselves and their relationships more deeply.

My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and relational therapy. I see the mind as made up of different “parts”, each with its own feelings, beliefs and protective strategies. Therapy becomes a process of getting to know these parts with curiosity and compassion, rather than fighting against them.

Many people come to therapy feeling pulled in different directions internally. One part may want closeness while another pulls away. One part may strive to succeed while another feels exhausted or hopeless. I work with clients to explore these inner dynamics so that more choice, clarity and self-leadership can emerge.

Alongside parts work, I pay close attention to relationship patterns, attachment dynamics and the ways earlier experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves and others.

I aim to offer a thoughtful and steady therapeutic space where clients can explore difficult feelings, conflicting inner experiences and complex relational situations at a pace that feels manageable.

My approach is sex-positive and kink-aware, and I welcome conversations about intimacy, sexuality and relational structures without judgement.

I also work well with reflective, creative and psychologically curious people who want to develop a deeper understanding of their inner world.

Practice description

My approach to therapy is flexible and collaborative. At the beginning of sessions I often ask what feels most important for you to focus on that day. Sometimes clients want to continue exploring something that has been unfolding over time, and sometimes a particular experience from the week needs attention.

Because I work pluralistically, we can approach therapy in different ways depending on what feels most helpful. Some people prefer to follow longer threads of exploration over many sessions, while others want to focus on a particular issue or situation in the present.

I am most experienced in working with Internal Family Systems (IFS), which explores the different “parts” that can exist within us – for example protective parts, critical voices, or more vulnerable feelings. Understanding these parts can bring clarity and reduce inner conflict.

Alongside IFS, sessions can also include reflective conversation, relational exploration, or creative approaches. Clients sometimes bring writing, photographs, memories, or objects into the work. At other times the session may simply involve talking through something that has happened and having it witnessed and understood.

Some people come with clear goals, such as working through a specific relationship difficulty, a work situation, or patterns connected to anxiety, addiction, or self-criticism. Others come with a more open curiosity about themselves and their inner world.

I also draw on cognitive and behavioural approaches where these are useful for understanding patterns or making practical changes.

Therapy with me is a space where we can think together, explore what matters most to you, and find the approaches that best support the work you want to do.

My first session

Before starting therapy, I offer a free introductory video call (15–30 minutes). This gives us a chance to meet informally and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

We will talk about what has brought you to therapy, any current difficulties you are facing, and what you hope might change or become clearer through the process. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable at this stage.

I may ask some questions about your background, relationships and previous experiences of therapy so that I can begin to understand your situation more fully.

There is no expectation to commit to ongoing therapy after the first meeting. Some people choose to take time to think about whether they would like to continue.

If you decide you would like to go ahead, we will arrange a regular session time.

The first therapy session itself usually begins quite naturally. Because we have already met and discussed practical arrangements during the introductory call, we can begin focusing on what you would like to work with.
