About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome. I’m Natalie, a Person-centred counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I offer online sessions via Google Meet in both English and Czech.

We can all find ourselves overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or sadness stemming from our past or present experiences. For those building a new life in a foreign country, these feelings are often intensified by isolation and uncertainty. I believe that in these moments, it is vital to have someone who listens without judgment or dismissal. For me, therapy is a place for change, but it is also a safe spot where you can slow down and better understand yourself and your new situation.

Having lived and studied extensively in the UK and USA, I understand first-hand the complexities of the international experience and the importance of culturally sensitive support. I earned my Bachelor and Master degree from Psychology and Psychotherapy and Counselling in the UK with Hons, where I was also trained in person-centred approach.

Practice description

I believe that you are the expert on your own experience. My role is not to “direct” you or tell you how to change, but to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace. This collaborative process is designed to empower you. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling confident in your own capacity to navigate life’s challenges, moving forward with a sense of independence and self-reliance.

While my background in research ensures my practice is grounded and informed, my core philosophy is fundamentally collaborative and relational. Rather than following a rigid structure, I aim for us to find a safe space together where you can speak about anything you need to. My goal is to walk alongside you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you build the self-compassion and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges. Through this shared journey, we work toward a sense of clarity and growth that feels authentic to who you are.

So if you feel like therapy is something that you need right now, I look forward to meeting you soon.
