About me and my therapy practice

Whether you come to therapy with a clear sense of what you’d like to work on, or simply a need for space to gently explore what’s causing discomfort, you will find a warm and accepting welcome in our sessions. We will work together to find a way forward that feels right for you, at a pace that suits you.

I hold an MSc in Person-Centred Counselling and have spent the past five years working with clients in a range of settings. Alongside this, I have also trained in Rewind Trauma Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and in working with children and young people, as well as neurodivergence.

My specialist area is trauma and complex PTSD, which was also the focus of my MSc dissertation and continues to inform my work.

If you’re considering therapy and would like to find out more, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Practice description

You are the most important person in the room during our sessions, and the work is guided by what feels important for you and what you would like to achieve.

My approach is active and informed by psychoeducation. Alongside listening, I will also support and guide you—offering ideas, concepts, or practical tools, including CBT techniques, where these may be helpful for you to consider.

The aim is for you to leave sessions feeling heard, with a growing sense of confidence in yourself and your ability to navigate your life.

Healing is not always quick or straightforward, and trauma can create ongoing challenges. Together, we can begin to understand these patterns, find a way forward, and develop strategies that support you in meeting those difficulties.

You do not have to do this alone—we will work through it together.

My first session

The initial complimentary 15-minute chat is a chance to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.

You’re very welcome to ask anything that feels important, and I will be open and honest about how I work and what I offer. Finding the right therapeutic fit really matters, and this is something we can explore together.

If it feels like a good fit, we can gently arrange a first session from there.
