About me and my therapy practice

I offer a space where you can slow down and explore whatever feels important to you, at your own pace. There is no expectation to arrive with a clear goal or the right words:  therapy begins with what is present.

My approach is rooted in a humanistic perspective, valuing authenticity and the relationship we build together. You set the direction, and I remain alongside you, supporting you in making sense of your experiences. Gentle challenge may form part of the work, always offered with care and respect.

Alongside talking, we may use creative or alternative ways of exploring, if this feels helpful.

I offer face to face counselling in Brighton and work online with clients across the UK and internationally.

Practice description

My practice offers a calm, confidential space to explore whatever feels important to you. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be short-term or longer term, depending on your needs and preferences. You are free to bring whatever is on your mind, and we work at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with adults aged 18 and over, offering face-to-face counselling in Brighton and online sessions across the UK and internationally. My approach is flexible and responsive, shaped by what you bring and how you experience the work.

Alongside talking, there is space to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences in different ways, including creative approaches where this feels helpful. These are always optional and guided by you.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity to begin getting a sense of whether the space feels right for you. There is no expectation to share everything straight away or to have a clear idea of what you want to talk about.

We will spend some time exploring what has brought you to therapy and what you might want from the work, as well as discussing any questions you may have. This is also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and whether it feels like a good fit.

You are welcome to take your time; therapy begins at your pace.
