About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Kim, an integrative therapist based in Leamington Spa, working with women. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can explore what’s on your mind and begin to make sense of things when life feels tangled, overwhelming, or hard to hold on to alone.

People come to therapy for many reasons. You might be feeling anxious, burnt out, stuck in repeating patterns, or struggling with low self-worth. You may be navigating relationship difficulties, the impact of childhood experiences, or a significant life transition such as motherhood, career changes, or loss. Sometimes it’s a general sense that something doesn’t feel right, and you want support to understand yourself more deeply and find a way forward.

I work mainly with women, particularly those who appear to be coping well on the outside while struggling internally. My approach combines practical support with deeper exploration of patterns, early experiences, and emotional wounds that may be shaping how you feel and respond today. I believe you are the expert in your experiences, and I will walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and gentle challenge to help create meaningful and lasting change.

Over the past six years, I’ve supported clients with their mental health and wellbeing, including women in the perinatal period. Alongside my private practice, I work with a counselling charity, supporting people from diverse backgrounds and with complex trauma experiences.

Practice description

I offer one to one therapy from a lovely private space on The Parade in Leamington Spa. I will meet with you on a weekly or fortnightly basis for either short or long-term counselling, depending on your needs.

I work mainly with women and bring an intersectional lens to my practice. This means I recognise that women’s experiences are shaped by many different factors, including culture, race, class, sexuality, neurodiversity, motherhood, relationships, and social expectations. These wider systems and pressures can have a real impact on women's mental health, identity, self-worth, and how safe, supported and authentic someone feels in the world.

I choose to work with women because I am passionate about creating a space where women can explore their experiences openly, feel understood in the context of their lives, and reconnect with their voice, needs, and sense of self.

My first session

Our work begins with a free 30-minute consultation by phone, where we can talk about what support you’re looking for and see whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

If it feels right to move forward, we’ll schedule our first session, where we’ll complete a brief assessment and begin exploring your hopes for therapy together.
