Availability
I currently have some limited availability within my practice. I work in-person, or online, during weekday daytime hours.
About me and my therapy practice
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a range of theoretical models depending on what each person brings, rather than following a single fixed method. This might involve exploring how past experiences and relationships continue to shape the present, working with your capacity for growth and self-understanding, or examining questions of meaning, purpose, and identity.
Rather than applying a predetermined framework, I adapt to what you bring to each session. I am interested in understanding not just what is happening in your life, but what it means to you and why it might feel the way it does.
Above all, my approach involves co-creating a relationship in which you can feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. Our sessions will be strictly confidential and non-judgmental, whilst remaining thoughtfully challenging enough for meaningful change to become possible.
Sessions last 50 minutes and typically take place weekly, either in person in West London or online via Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet. I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation so we can talk about what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels like the right fit.
Practice description
I offer integrative counselling and psychotherapy from a practice in, West London, and online. I work with adults navigating a wide range of difficulties — anxiety, depression, relationship problems, loss and grief, low self-esteem, and feelings of being stuck or unfulfilled.
Many of my clients come during times of significant transition: a career change, a bereavement, a relationship breakdown, or simply a sense that something needs to shift. Others arrive without yet being able to name the source of their distress. Whatever brings you here, my aim is to offer a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported in finding your own way forward.
With a background in psychology, organisational psychology, and over twenty years of professional experience, I bring both clinical training and a deep understanding of the pressures many people face — particularly those in demanding careers or navigating major life changes.
I am fluent in English and Dutch, and proficient in German, and have lived and worked across different cultures. I am a registered member of the BACP and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.
My first session
Before we begin working together, I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation — by phone or online — where you can tell me a little about what has brought you to therapy and ask any questions you might have. There is no obligation, and it is simply a chance to get a sense of how I work and whether we feel like a good fit.
If we decide to proceed, our first full session lasts 50 minutes and is charged at the standard rate of £75. This session is an opportunity for me to understand your situation in more depth — what you are hoping to get from therapy, any relevant background, and what you would like our work together to focus on. It is also a chance for you to experience the space and begin to feel comfortable before we move into the ongoing work.
There is no formal assessment questionnaire. I prefer to begin with a conversation, at your own pace, so that the process feels as natural and unintimidating as possible from the outset.
