About me and my therapy practice
Hello… I am Rossella, and welcome to Reflective Time Counselling.
I am a compassionate and dedicated Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, with a strong foundation in Person-Centred Therapy, offering support in the Southampton area and online.
I am committed to providing a grounded, empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals seeking healing and personal growth.
Finding a therapist you trust is essential to an open and meaningful therapeutic relationship, and our initial session will help us explore whether my approach aligns with your needs.
Ten years ago, I took the brave step of starting my therapeutic journey, which has been truly transformative. Therapy helped me address aspects of myself I hadn’t realised needed healing, and it has provided me with valuable insights and personal growth that continues to evolve.
This ongoing journey has inspired me to become a counsellor myself, enabling me to empower others as they navigate their paths toward healing and self-discovery.
Practice description
At Reflective Time, the motto is "Ad Maiora."
The Latin phrase "Ad Maiora Semper" beautifully captures my mission: to guide you on a journey of empowerment, self-acceptance, and growth.
I wholeheartedly believe that healing is a pathway toward discovering greater possibilities in your life.
Whether you’re navigating challenges in your relationships, processing trauma, or dealing with issues related to alcohol and substance misuse, I’m here to support you.
The person-centred approach can help you move past your current struggles and toward a life that feels truly fulfilling and authentic.
In our work together, it’s important to remember that you are not defined by your past; rather, you are inspired by the incredible potential within you.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation. This is a gentle opportunity for us to meet, talk about what you’re looking for, and see whether we feel like a good fit.
I understand that life can be busy, so I provide sessions in the morning, afternoon, evening, and on Saturdays (subject to availability) to support your schedule as best as possible.
I offer both short-term counselling, where we can focus on specific goals, longer-term and open-ended therapy, depending on what feels right for you.
Please note: I do not currently offer couples counselling.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are available either in person or online via video link, giving you flexibility in how we work together.
As a bilingual counsellor, I am able to offer sessions in both English and Italian. I am committed to working in a way that is inclusive, respectful of diversity, and affirming of LGBTQ+ identities.
Payment
I kindly ask for payment in advance of each session.
Fees
Sessions (in person or online): £60.00
I offer a reduced fee of £40.00 for counselling students, individuals on a low income, and clients receiving PIP.
