Availability
Welcome to my Home Page:
I offer flexible availability to accommodate a range of schedules, including daytime and evening appointments where possible. I understand that finding a suitable time for therapy can be challenging, so I aim to work collaboratively with you to identify appointment times that fit around work, study, and other commitments in life.
Sessions can take place in my therapy room at the back of my home, in your own home or in a safe room in the community, outdoors in a local park, or online via Zoom, Teams, or WhatsApp. Please let me know your preference when you get in touch.
I work in an open-ended way, meaning there is no fixed number of sessions. Some clients attend for a few months, while others choose to continue for a longer period. We regularly review the work together as therapy progresses.
I currently have availability within my practice and welcome new enquiries. Session times can be discussed and arranged based on individual needs, with some flexibility for rescheduling when required.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and welcome. My name is Purima Kaur and I’m a qualified counsellor with over 25 years of experience working across statutory and voluntary services, supporting people through life’s most challenging times.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent two decades working as an Advisor in an organisation, where I supported individuals and families facing homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction and mental health struggles. Those years taught me that everyone’s lived experience matters and that with the right support and change, healing is always possible.
As a woman of Asian descent and a mother of three, I understand how cultural expectations, family dynamics, and life’s pressures can affect our wellbeing. My approach to counselling is warm, down-to-earth, and non-judgmental and mainly deliver the person centred therapy model. I create a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly face-to-face or online to explore your thoughts and emotions, and work towards positive change at your own pace.
I believe in empowering my clients to rediscover their inner strength and resilience. Whether you’re facing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or simply feeling lost, I’m here to help you find clarity and balance in your life.
