About me and my therapy practice

Hello, and welcome.

Reaching out for support can feel daunting, and my aim is to provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and valued.

I am a trauma-informed integrative counsellor working with people over 16 years old. I hold s MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at distinction level, and a first class (Hons) degree in Psychology.

I worked with Cruse Bereavement Support for over 2 years supporting people with grief and bereavement. I also have over 2 years experience working with and offering counselling students.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than taking a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

I believe therapy can help us better understand ourselves, our relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping us stuck. I work collaboratively and at your pace, creating a space where you can explore difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences safely.

My specialisations are in: anxiety, bereavement, trauma, and attachment (relationships, and communication). While these are my specialties I can also apply my approach to working with life and work stress, depression, life transitions, motivation, self-esteem, and more.

I believe therapy should be accessible for everyone and offer a concessions for students, and low income individuals.

My concession rate is £30 (half price).

If you would like to discuss your needs or ask any questions, please feel free to get in touch

Practice description

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what you are going through.

I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental environment where we can explore difficult thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences together. My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than following a single method.

I work with people over 16 years old and draw from approaches including CBT, Attachment-Based Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psychoanalytic Therapy, and ACT.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, loss, low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties, I aim to support you in developing greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change.

Sessions are available face-to-face, online, and via telephone.

My first session

Attending a first therapy session can feel daunting, especially if you have never accessed counselling before. My aim is to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you feel comfortable to talk at your own pace.

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to explore what has brought you to therapy. We may discuss your current difficulties, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from counselling. This session also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about therapy or the way I work.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is important, so there is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. We will work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you.

Before beginning therapy, I will provide you with a counselling agreement; within the first session I will go through a brief assessment with you to help me understand your needs and ensure I can support you appropriately.
