About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Beth, a qualified integrative therapist. I offer therapy online across the UK and face to face sessions in Leeds City Centre.

You might be coming to therapy because you feel overwhelmed, stuck in your own thoughts, disconnected from yourself, or because something feels difficult to put into words. Sometimes there is a clear reason for seeking support, and sometimes life can look “fine” on the outside while something still doesn’t feel right.

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about or what you want to change. We can start with what feels most important to you and gently make sense of things together.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on you and what you need. This might involve exploring past experiences and relationships to understand patterns in the present, focusing on what is happening in your life now, or finding practical ways to manage things when they feel difficult or overwhelming.

Practice description

The way I work is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be yourself, speak openly and take your time, without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out.

I don’t see therapy as something I do to you, but something we work through together. That might mean making sense of difficult feelings, patterns or experiences, exploring how the past may be affecting you now, or simply having somewhere to say things out loud and feel genuinely heard.

Where it feels helpful, we can also look at practical ways of managing what you’re experiencing day to day. This might mean finding small, manageable things that help when life feels difficult or overwhelming, so that therapy isn’t only about understanding what’s going on, but also about finding ways to feel more supported outside of the room.

There is no set way therapy has to look. We can work out together what feels most useful for you.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call before booking a first session. This gives us a chance to briefly connect, talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you might be hoping to get from it, and for you to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.

If you decide you would like to continue, sessions are 50 minutes and can take place online or face-to-face.

Sessions are £55.
